Leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association visited and worked in Nam Ninh Hoa commune

On the morning of August 20, the working delegation of the Farmers' Association of Khanh Hoa province led by Ms. Phan Thi Ngan Hanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association had a working session with the Farmers' Association of Nam Ninh Hoa commune on the work situation in the first 7 months of the year and key tasks for the last months of 2025.

According to the report of the Farmers' Association of Nam Ninh Hoa commune, up to now, the association has completed the work of perfecting the organization and apparatus. Currently, the association has more than 3,800 members operating in 23 branches. After the merger, the branches in the area have organized the signing of emulation agreements, implementing the association's work and the farmers' movement in 2025.

In the first 7 months of the year, the production life, agricultural situation, farmers and rural areas in the area have developed stably. There are many effective agricultural models, typically medicinal plant growing models, livestock farms - integrated crop growing... Farmers in the area tend to switch from ineffective rice fields to growing wax potatoes, peanuts, chili, various melons, corn...

Leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association presented gifts to members and farmers participating in the campaign to establish the "Millionaire Farmers" club.

At the meeting, the Commune Farmers' Association recommended that the leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association propose to the central level to study and consider amending regulations on the organization and operation of the Farmers' Support Fund in accordance with the 2-level local model; consider implementing new crop models such as apples, asparagus, aloe vera, etc.; support seafood varieties such as crabs, abalone, etc. to further diversify the livelihoods of members and farmers. At the same time, recommend that all levels and sectors soon issue a plan for mollusk farming areas in the area, helping fishermen expand their scale and confidently invest in improving the quality of this farming object.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Phan Thi Ngan Hanh highly appreciated the efforts of the Commune Farmers' Association, especially in stabilizing the organization, immediately implementing the association's work and farmers' movements after the merger, ensuring no interruption. In the coming time, the Commune Farmers' Association is requested to focus on building documents for the Farmers' Association congress, ensuring that they are close to reality, following the development orientation of the commune and the region. In particular, for agricultural economic development, the Commune Farmers' Association is requested to continue to effectively implement farmers' movements, especially building appropriate and effective economic models, researching crops and livestock that exploit the value of suburban areas, forming large-scale, systematic, organic and safe farms, combining experiential tourism to increase value. Regarding some difficulties and problems, the Provincial Farmers' Association has recorded and synthesized them as a basis for recommendations and proposals for the central and provincial governments to consider and resolve.

On the same day, the delegation of the Provincial Farmers’ Association came to learn about the production and breeding model at San Viet Farm; at the same time, they discussed with members and farmers about establishing the “Millionaire Farmer” Club model in the near future. When established, the club will be a gathering place for members, good farmers, investors, and consumers of local agricultural products.
