Can Tho City Party Committee leaders extend congratulations on the Buddha's Birthday celebration.

On May 29th, Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Fatherland Front Committee, along with representatives from various city departments and agencies, visited and offered congratulations on the occasion of the 2026 Buddha's Birthday Celebration at the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Can Tho City.

Leaders of the Can Tho City Party Committee presented gifts to the dignitaries of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Can Tho City.

Comrade Ho Thi Cam Dao acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the city, religious dignitaries, and Buddhist followers to the cause of building and developing the city.

The Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Can Tho City has actively encouraged its followers to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Fatherland Front; and work together to care for social welfare, support the poor and those in difficult circumstances, and assist students in overcoming difficulties to excel in their studies... contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion and kindness in the community.

The leaders of the Can Tho City Party Committee hope that in the coming time, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Can Tho City will continue to uphold the tradition of unity, pay attention to training and nurturing the next generation of monks and nuns; encourage Buddhist followers to live "good lives and beautiful faith," actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and practical, sustainable social charity activities; and continue to work alongside the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations in building Can Tho City into an increasingly developed, civilized, modern, and compassionate city.
