- On May 27th, Comrade Doan Thu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, worked with the Provincial Youth and Children's Palace.
The delegation included Comrade Nguyen Hoang Tung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, and representatives of leaders from several provincial departments and agencies.

During the program, representatives from the Provincial Youth Center reported on its functions, duties, powers, organizational structure, operational results for the first five months of the year, and key tasks for the remaining seven months of 2026.

According to the report, the Provincial Youth Center currently has 13 officials and contract workers. Over the past period, the unit has focused on organizing many activities. Activities promoting talents and providing entertainment for young people in the area were organized. During the first five months of 2026, clubs focusing on martial arts, table tennis, chess, ceremonial teams, and youth art groups maintained regular activities, contributing to the discovery and nurturing of talents, as well as improving physical fitness and skills for children. Simultaneously, traditional education activities and experiential learning playgrounds continued to be implemented effectively.

The Youth Center also promotes the implementation of career counseling and guidance activities, study abroad programs, and job placement services, creating opportunities for young people to receive foreign language training, improve the quality of young human resources, and serve the socio-economic development goals of the province.

During the program, delegates discussed and contributed many ideas, focusing on the following topics: improving the quality of activities at the Youth Center; plans for repairing and renovating infrastructure and facilities, investing in equipment, facilities, and space; and the socialization and collaboration in organizing recreational activities and developing talents for young people in the province…

In his concluding remarks, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province acknowledged the achievements of the Lang Son Youth and Children's Palace, noting that it has implemented many educational activities, cared for and nurtured young people, and achieved several positive results.
The comrade also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations: The provincial Youth Center has not fully exploited its potential and lacks innovation in its activities; the staff is insufficient and lacks resources, limiting their ability to perform their duties; the infrastructure is limited, with some facilities having deteriorated long ago; the proportion of self-funded budget and expenses is low; mobilizing social resources remains difficult, and there is a lack of space for innovative activities and digital technology…
The comrade suggested that the Provincial Youth Center should review its organizational structure and personnel, and innovate its thinking to suit the current practical situation. At the same time, it should maintain and improve the quality of specialized models such as military training semesters, creative summer camps, and talent clubs; focus on training staff and flexibly utilize a team of highly qualified collaborators; and proactively coordinate with relevant departments and units in vocational education activities for young people.
Simultaneously, promote social mobilization, joint ventures, and partnerships to attract resources to support operations. At the same time, continue to comprehensively review and assess the current state of physical facilities and plans for the use of public assets at the unit's premises; proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to complete the necessary documentation and plans for repair and renovation in accordance with regulations.
The comrade suggested that the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board should urgently review and finalize the project dossier for the renovation and repair of the Youth Center, ensuring it is consistent with its intended use, maximizing the use of space and surrounding landscape to enhance efficiency and contribute to improving the physical infrastructure serving the unit's overall activities.

During the program, the delegation surveyed the facilities at the first campus of the Provincial Youth Center, located at 1 Nhi Thanh Street, Tam Thanh Ward; and presented 80 gifts to the children studying and living at the Provincial Youth Center, on the occasion of Children's Day on June 1st.
