Lao Cai: Prosecution of a subject illegally buying and selling 6,000 synthetic drug pills

CTTĐT - On August 24, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Provincial Police issued a Decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Hau Chan Hoa, born in 1964, residing in Tong Gia village, Phong Hai commune, Lao Cai province, for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.

Previously, at about 20:00 on August 18, 2025, in Tan Thang village, Bao Thang commune, Lao Cai province, Bao Thang commune police coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police and Phong Hai commune police to deploy forces to arrest Hau Chan Hoa red-handed while he was illegally buying and selling drugs.

At the scene, the joint force discovered that suspect Hau Chan Hoa was wearing a bag containing 6,000 synthetic drug pills, with a total weight of 568.946 grams.

At the Bao Thang Commune Police Station, Hau Chan Hoa confessed that he bought the drugs for 120 million VND to sell for profit. However, before he could carry out the act, he was discovered and arrested by the police.

Bao Thang Commune Police have handed over the subject and evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police for investigation according to their authority.
