On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, in the first half of the morning session, thanks to large-cap stocks, the VN-Index increased by nearly 11 points, reaching over 1,683 points. However, many key stocks later decreased in price, causing the index to return to the reference level and show red. At the end of the morning trading session, the VN-Index stopped at 1,669.32 points, down 3.46 points.

In the afternoon session, the market continued to decline at first. From 1:35 p.m., demand improved, and the VN-Index reversed and increased. At the end of the session, the VN-Index stopped at 1,680.86 points, up 8.08 points (0.48%); the VN30-Index reached 1,861.2 points after "increasing" 12.65 points (0.68%).
The market recorded 177 stocks going up and 137 stocks going down. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks going up was twice as high as the number of stocks going down (19 stocks and 9 stocks).
The industry groups that increased points dominated, of which, securities was the most positive industry, unfortunately this group did not have a very large capitalization. Only 2 codes, SSI and VIX, were in the group of 10 strongest supporting codes in the market.
VPB contributed the most to the VN-Index with more than 1.3 points; followed by TCB (more than 1 point), LPB (0.75 points)...
On the contrary, commercial and professional services, real estate, software and services, and telecommunications services are the industry groups that go against the market.
VIC is the code that takes away the most points with nearly 1.6 points. The banking group is divided. While some codes contribute positively to the market, BID, STB, MBB, VCB, VIB, MSB,ACB are in the group that takes away points but all have not taken up to 0.5 points.
The entire floor had more than 34,000 billion VND changed hands. Foreign investors were strong net sellers. This group bought more than 2,763 billion VND and sold more than 5,337 billion VND.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, at the end of the session, the HNX-Index increased by 0.25 points (0.09%), stopping at 276.63 points; the HNX30-Index reached 610.44 points, up 0.42 points (0.07%). The total transaction value reached 2,300 billion VND.
