Opening of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

On August 28, the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition took place at the National Exhibition Center on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo members, former Politburo members, Party Central Committee members, former Party Central Committee members; leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; representatives of enterprises participating in the Exhibition. On the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the agencies, units, localities and enterprises that have actively and effectively contributed to the completion of the project and the organization of the Exhibition; so that people can better understand the glorious and heroic historical traditions of the nation and enjoy the cultural achievements as a spiritual festival of the country.

The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to continue to carefully prepare and organize well all exhibition activities, art programs, conferences, exchanges, meetings, forums, etc. Thereby, allowing people in the country and international friends to experience, feel, and be proud of the country's achievements and enjoy the results of the National Exhibition Center as a new symbol of the Capital and the whole country.

The National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd is a special highlight; the largest scale ever, with the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 enterprises, large economic groups with more than 230 booths. The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 industries in various fields (industry, agriculture, trade, investment, culture, science and technology, education, health, environment, traditional craft villages, OCOP products, special products, national defense, security, foreign affairs ...); many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and quite comprehensively reflect the outstanding achievements throughout the "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey" of our nation under the leadership of the Party.

The exhibition depicts the image of the country and people of Vietnam with thousands of years of heroic history of the nation; the culture imbued with identity, unified in diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of products in all 3 regions of the country; the development and progress of ministries , departments, branches, 34 provinces and cities over the past 80 years .

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong visited the exhibition area of Dien Bien province.

Dien Bien province participated in the exhibition at the exhibition space "Rich province, strong country" (Hall 7) with the theme "Dien Bien - Building together, striving for development", to honor the contributions of Dien Bien province in the journey of protecting, building and developing the country. The exhibition of achievements of the country on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 was held at the National Exhibition Center - a new highlight of the capital Hanoi with outstanding architecture, imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, ranked in the Top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world. The architecture of the exhibition house is inspired by the image of the golden turtle, highlighting the message of preserving historical memories, honoring the bravery and intelligence of Vietnam, proactively integrating deeply into the international community, and gradually realizing the aspiration for power.
