On the afternoon of August 28, at Thanh Loc commune, An Giang Provincial Police held a ceremony to hand over the Nghia Tinh house to members of the People's Former Police Association. Colonel Le Phu Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police presided over the ceremony.

Accordingly, An Giang Provincial Police handed over the house to comrade Nguyen Van Long, member of the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Thanh Loc Commune.

The house has a total area of ​​80 ^{square meters} , with a construction cost of 400 million VND, of which the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police supported 110 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Phu Thanh, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, congratulated Comrade Long's family on having a new, spacious house to stabilize their lives. At the same time, he hoped that Comrade would continue to promote the tradition of a People's Police soldier, actively participate in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level, and contribute to building an increasingly strong police force.
