Ethnic knowledge training for nearly 100 delegates in An Cu and Tri Ton

On the morning of October 14, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province coordinated with Tra Vinh University to organize a conference on ethnic knowledge training for subject 4 under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2025.

Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, Danh Tha, introduced the topic "Overview of Vietnam's ethnic minorities".

From October 14 to 17, nearly 100 delegates from Tri Ton and An Cu communes were introduced and studied 6 topics, including: Overview of Vietnam's ethnic minorities; the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines on ethnic issues and ethnic affairs; laws and policies of the State on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas; building a strong grassroots political system in ethnic minority areas; State management of ethnic minority culture; national defense and security work in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The conference aims to raise awareness of the Party's viewpoints and policies, the State's policies and laws on ethnic affairs for cadres, civil servants and public employees; update knowledge about culture and ethnic minorities; improve professional qualifications for cadres working on ethnic affairs in ethnic minority areas.
