(DN) - Promoting the fine tradition of the Vietnamese people of "mutual love and support", "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", in the face of heavy damage caused by storm No. 10, on the afternoon of October 6, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Xoai ward organized a fundraising campaign to support people in provinces and cities affected by storm No. 10.

In September, four consecutive storms made landfall, causing serious damage to people and property, greatly affecting people's lives. Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Anh Khoa read an Open Letter calling on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, and members of political and social organizations in Dong Xoai ward to actively respond and contribute in the spirit of solidarity, sharing and responsibility to the community.

During the launch, the total amount of direct donations was 31,694,000 VND. All of this money will be transferred to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to promptly support people in disaster-affected areas to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.

On the same day, Tan Thanh Secondary School also held a fundraising launch ceremony, with the active participation of staff, teachers, employees and students. As a result, the whole school contributed more than 24,000,000 VND, demonstrating the spirit of charity and social responsibility of teachers and students towards people in flood-affected areas.
