Ban May Commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Chien Pho, Ban Phung, Ban May. After the merger, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and socio-political organizations were consolidated, ensuring the organization, personnel, maintaining stable operations, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period. Propaganda and mobilization work for the people was strengthened, contributing to consolidating trust, creating consensus in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws.
One of the highlights is the effective implementation of the movement "Eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses". With the drastic participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, the commune has supported the construction and repair of 371 houses (339 new houses, 32 houses repaired). Deploying typical models in fields such as: Blood plum tree model in Nhiu Sang and Sui Thau villages; incense plowing model in Doan Ket village; Duck raising model in Ban Phung area; commercial black pig raising model in Ban May village; red dragon fruit growing model... Building and consolidating 22 reconciliation groups, self-governing groups, self-governing clans to contribute to maintaining political security and order in the commune.
With the theme: "Promoting the strength of great national unity; improving the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; determined to successfully implement the goals by 2030 in Ban May commune", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ban May commune sets out 12 specific goals: 100% of cadres, members, and union members are thoroughly informed, study, disseminate, and propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the Front's work program; every quarter, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and its member organizations have reports promptly reflecting the people's situation and proposing solutions and directions for resolution; every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune organizes at least 2 monitoring programs, monitoring contents; social criticism of 2 draft documents; organizes monitoring of contents according to the direction of superiors and issues of concern to the people. The Congress elected 57 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ban May Commune, Term I, 2025-2030. Mr. Lu Ngoc Thanh was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ban May Commune, Term 2025-2030. The Congress also elected a delegation to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang Province, Term 2025-2030 and passed the Congress Resolution with high consensus.
