Integrated training on water conservation and protection for primary school level.

On December 12th, the Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training organized a training conference on "Integrating Education on Water Conservation and Protection at the Primary School Level" for administrators and teachers. Representatives from the Department of Education and Training and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Company Limited were in attendance.

Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Company Limited presented a symbolic check to support seven clean water projects for seven disadvantaged primary schools in Tuyen Quang province.

The training course was conducted using a combination of theory and games, group discussions, and the exchange of practical experiences in organizing communication activities in schools. Topics covered included: the role of clean water and sanitation in health; waterborne diseases; waste and wastewater; models for providing clean water in schools; guidance on the use and management of water supply and sanitation facilities; and communication skills to raise awareness about water resource protection.

Integrating water conservation education into primary school subjects helps students develop good habits from a young age, while simultaneously fostering their abilities, qualities, and sense of responsibility towards the community and the environment. Through training, participants will reinforce their knowledge and skills to effectively organize educational activities on clean water and environmental hygiene, aiming to cultivate positive behaviors such as: not littering, saving water, maintaining general hygiene, protecting trees, and properly using and maintaining school sanitation facilities.

On this occasion, the Mizuiku "I Love Clean Water" program of Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Company Limited donated 7 clean water projects to 7 primary schools with difficult infrastructure conditions in the province.
