Laos awards medals to leaders of Quang Ngai province

(Baoquangngai.vn)- A high-ranking delegation of Sekong province (Laos) led by Central Party Committee member, Secretary, and Governor of Sekong province Leck Lay Si Vi Lay visited and presented medals of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to collectives and individuals of Quang Ngai province.

Welcoming and working with the delegation on the afternoon of September 28 were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien and leaders of departments and branches.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang received the First Class Labor Medal from the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic awarded to the collective of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Leck Lay Si Vi Lay awarded the Second Class Freedom Medal of the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to comrade Bui Thi Quynh Van.

Comrade Leck Lay Si Vi Lay awarded the Third Class Freedom Medal of the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien.

Authorized by the leaders of the Party and State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, comrade Leck Lay Si Vi Lay awarded the First Class Labor Medal to the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee; awarded the Second Class Freedom Medal to the Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, and Provincial People's Council Chairwoman Bui Thi Quynh Van; awarded the Third Class Freedom Medal to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien.

The Provincial People's Committee and provincial leaders were awarded medals for their outstanding contributions to preserving, nurturing and developing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary, Governor of Sekong Province Leck Lay Si Vi Lay acknowledged the great contributions of the leaders of Quang Ngai Province to the process of establishing cooperative relations, contributing to promoting the development of Laos in general and Sekong Province in particular. He hoped that this cooperative relationship would develop further and deepen, further tightening the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two countries and the two localities of Sekong - Quang Ngai.

The special friendship between Vietnam and Laos has always been nurtured by the Party, State and people of the two countries, and has been increasingly consolidated, developed, deepened, practical and effective.

In recent times, Quang Ngai has signed cooperation agreements with Lao localities and effectively implemented cooperation tasks. In particular, the most prominent is cooperation in human resource training, with many Lao students coming to Quang Ngai to study.

Comrade Bui Thi Quynh Van presented a souvenir to comrade Leck Lay Si Vi Lay.

Quang Ngai and Lao localities have cooperated, actively exchanged information, strengthened people-to-people diplomacy , and promoted exchanges in many different fields. Thereby, contributing to consolidating and enhancing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Comrade Bui Thi Quynh Van thanked the leaders of the Lao Party, State and people for recognizing the achievements and the awards given to Quang Ngai. She also thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Sekong province for always standing side by side in the development process of Quang Ngai.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang presented a souvenir to comrade Leck Lay Si Vi Lay.
