Over the course of three days (July 29-31), 220 trainees, including officials from the Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, cultural and social affairs officials in charge of culture and sports at the commune level, and those not receiving salaries from the state budget working in cultural affairs at the village level and equivalent, learned about the following topics: Family work in the new era; application of information technology in organizing activities at the commune and village levels; some typical models for promoting the cultural identity and fine traditions of each region, ethnic group; professional skills in organizing mass art and cultural activities, skills in decorating and visual promotion...

The training course aims to strengthen state management of grassroots cultural and sports institutions; improve the quality of cultural families and cultural residential areas in the construction of new rural areas; enhance the quality and effectiveness of the operation of commune-level cultural and sports centers, village cultural houses and sports areas; and cultivate and improve knowledge in managing and organizing some cultural and artistic activities in villages and residential areas.

Speaking at the training course, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang praised the contributions of the cultural sector in general and of grassroots cultural officials in particular to the process of building new rural areas. The Vice Chairman also pointed out issues such as: the need to promote the role and responsibility of grassroots cultural officials in building cultural communities; and the fact that cultural products in Ha Tinh mainly focus on cutting-edge areas and lack widespread appeal.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that cultural officials must change, embrace, and apply digitalization to grassroots cultural activities. They must improve their professional capacity and transform that capacity into a love for grassroots culture, thereby changing themselves and changing grassroots culture. Culture should be the driving force in building new rural areas and developing the homeland.
