On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 102nd anniversary of Uncle Ho's arrival in Russia (June 30, 1923 - June 30, 2025), on May 19, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the ceremony to install the statue of President Ho Chi Minh took place on the campus of Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).

The statue of President Ho Chi Minh enshrined at Saint Petersburg State University is cast in solid bronze, 2.1m high (including the statue body and pedestal), weighing 800kg, depicting the image of Uncle Ho raising his hand in greeting, sponsored by Mai Linh Group (Vietnam) and crafted by Quang Ha Bronze Casting Company, a prestigious unit in the field of crafting traditional bronze statues of Vietnam.

The ceremony to install the statue of President Ho Chi Minh at the campus of Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) shows the hearts of the children in the country, is a symbol of gratitude, and connects the people of the two countries.
