The signing of the trust contract aims to implement lending programs for the poor and other policy beneficiaries through 4 socio- political organizations (Farmers, Women, Veterans, Youth Union). The focus is on coordination in directing, propagating, and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and Government's policies and laws on social credit to the people, especially the poor and other policy beneficiaries; credit programs and processes, documents, and procedures for borrowing capital at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; regulations on the operation of savings and credit groups (S&L); inspection and supervision of the activities of S&L groups, the management board and members of S&L groups.
Along with that, training is organized for key officials of commune-level socio-political organizations, 100% of management boards of savings and credit groups on entrustment, delegation, mechanisms, policies and new documents related to social policy credit activities; coordination activities with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies...
It is known that the 8 communes mentioned above currently have 296 TTK&VV groups, with 10,973 customers, and a total outstanding loan balance of 785 billion VND. The signing of trust contracts with socio-political organizations in the newly merged communes is of great significance, affirming the role and responsibility of local authorities in accompanying the VBSP to effectively implement social security policies, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and socio -economic development in localities.
