The Organizing Committee of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot victory, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025) and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 has just issued a Plan to organize the Opening Ceremony of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of World Coffee".
The plan aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot victory and the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025). At the same time, introduce unique images of coffee, coffee culture, people, the Central Highlands Gong cultural space, the potentials, strengths and tourism of the province; create an image of a Dak Lak rich in identity, dynamic, friendly, polite, hospitable; attract domestic and foreign investors and tourists to Dak Lak; attract the attention and participation of domestic and international coffee-related units, businesses and organizations to gather in Buon Ma Thuot city. In addition, honor and promote the cultural heritage values of Buon Ma Thuot in particular and Dak Lak in general; honor, promote, and elevate the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee brand globally, gradually making Buon Ma Thuot a destination for world coffee.
The event will take place at 8:00 p.m. on March 10, 2025; at the main stage of the Festival, March 10 Square, Buon Ma Thuot city.
Regarding content, the pre-broadcast program was broadcast live on Dak Lak Radio and Television (DRT) and relayed on Radio and Television of the Central Highlands provinces.
The program was broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and rebroadcast on DRT, Radio and Television Stations of the Central Highlands provinces; the program consisted of two parts (about 90 minutes), of which the opening ceremony lasted about 30 minutes; the opening art program lasted about 60 minutes through the form of traditional and modern dramatization, conveying the message "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee".
