Cờn Temple, located in Quỳnh Phương ward, Hoàng Mai town, Nghệ An province, is a place of worship for the Four Holy Mothers. The annual Cờn Temple Festival features many solemn rituals, and a particularly indispensable part of the festival is the "flying palanquin procession"; the "Running and Vomiting" game for a good fishing season; and the traditional boat race, with spectators filling both sides of the Mai Giang river, creating an extremely lively festival atmosphere.

In 2016, the Cờn Temple Festival was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. With its beautiful scenery, picturesque landscapes, and unique festival, Cờn Temple – the most sacred temple in Nghe An province – attracts a large number of tourists from all over.
