The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just announced the plan to organize the Yen Festival, which will officially take place from December 12 to 14.

With the official name “Yen Festival - HCMC 2025”, the festival honors specialties, promotes exports, builds the city's high-quality bird's nest brand, and aims to become an annual event of international stature.

The opening ceremony, exhibition space and hands-on experience of the bird's nest industry will take place in the Nguyen Hue walking street area. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in unique simulation models, serving the need to experience vivid bird's nest caves with birds, nests that have been and are being formed. In addition, there is also a modern bird's nest house simulation area, recreating the natural habitat of birds with realistic sound and light systems.

The Tax Trade Center area (old) will be the place to gather bird's nest commercial booths, performance area and culinary introduction. Here, there are expected to be from 50 to 70 booths of businesses and units participating in the festival, combined with promotional programs, giving shopping vouchers and free product trial area (Tasting Zone), to introduce and stimulate shopping for products from Vietnamese bird's nest.

In addition to the exhibition activities, the festival also includes a series of diverse and attractive events, combining trade promotion, business connection and honoring cuisine and culture.

Some of the interesting and consistent activities include the culinary performance “Natural Essence in Every Dish”, where famous chefs show off their skills in preparing dishes from bird’s nest in a modern “Fusion” style or keeping the traditional features.

Or seminars and talks on "Solutions for producing bird's nest products that meet international standards" and "Promoting bird's nest product sales through e-commerce platforms", to promote cooperation, improve quality and expand online distribution channels.

Before that, to "warm up" the atmosphere before the main event, the Department of Industry and Trade and related units organized 2 competitions to encourage creativity and raise public awareness. The "Creative Bird's Nest Packaging and Branding" competition aimed to support businesses in improving designs, enhancing brand recognition, and aiming at international standards; the "Vietnamese Bird's Nest Cuisine - Essence of Nature" competition introduced nutritional values ​​and encouraged creativity in dishes made from bird's nest, creating opportunities for exchange and development of the culinary profession.

In addition, to encourage a healthy lifestyle and promote the cultural and ecological values ​​of the Can Gio bird's nest area, the city will organize the "Yen Viet - Firm steps for golden health" Run in Can Gio commune.

Yen Festival - HCMC 2025 is not only a place to honor the city's typical products, but also a great opportunity to connect, expand international markets and promote official exports.
