The "Healthy Living, Green Living" festival at Xuan Dinh Primary School (Xuan Dinh Ward)

From October 9th to 15th, 2025, the Education & Times Newspaper, the Rainbow for Childhood publication, and Elmich Joint Stock Company organized a series of "Healthy Living, Green Living" events at several primary schools in Hanoi, including: Phuong Lien Primary School (Kim Lien Ward), Nhat Tan Primary School (Hong Ha Ward), Hoang Dieu Primary School (Ngoc Ha Ward), Xuan Dinh Primary School (Xuan Dinh Ward), and Ha Dinh Primary School (Khuong Dinh Ward).

This meaningful activity is part of a campaign to promote communication on school health and build a green ecological school environment, aiming to equip students with health care and personal hygiene skills in the classroom, raise environmental awareness, and inspire a green lifestyle in the younger generation through practical experiences right at their school.

To kick off the "Healthy Living, Green Living" event, students had the opportunity to interact with school health experts, listening to relatable advice on self-care, personal hygiene, and developing healthy lifestyle habits. Interactive games on stage, such as quick question-and-answer sessions and identifying "green" behaviors, helped the students naturally retain the knowledge.

Beyond just theory, the interactive activities at the "Green Stations" also provide opportunities for students to apply their knowledge to real-world situations. At the "Gathering Trash - Contributing to Green" event, students bring old batteries and plastic bottles to the collection station – a practical action that helps them learn more about recycling and develop habits to reduce plastic waste.

At the "Green Journey Station," students participated in a game of sorting recyclable waste - hazardous waste - organic waste and improved their physical fitness and reflexes through "Throwing a ball at a target." The "Green Exhibition Station" displayed models of the current waste situation and introduced unique recycled products, along with a "Recycling Model Making Workshop" giving students the opportunity to transform discarded items into fun models conveying messages about environmental protection.

Alongside the series of events, the online competition "Let's Live Green Together" is currently underway, attracting a large number of students nationwide. The competition aims to raise awareness about environmental protection, spread the spirit of green living among students, and strengthen the bond between families, schools, and society for a common goal: sowing green seeds for the future generations of Vietnam.

With its visual, engaging, and creative approach to education, the "Healthy Living, Green Living" series of events has affirmed the effectiveness of the "experiential education" model in modern schools. Each lesson and small action in the program contributes to fostering a positive lifestyle, aiming towards a generation of healthy, compassionate Vietnamese students who work together for a greener planet.
