Strengthening propaganda to prevent and combat crimes and social evils in schools

From December 8 to 11, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize propaganda on crime prevention, social evils and illegal proselytizing activities at the following schools: Luong Ngoc Quyen High School, Duong Tu Minh High School and Khanh Hoa High School. The propaganda sessions helped students raise awareness and proactively prevent risks of law violations in the school environment.

Nearly 4,000 students were shared knowledge about preventing crime, social evils and illegal proselytizing activities.

Within the framework of the program, nearly 4,000 students and teachers of the schools were informed of key contents such as: Methods and tricks of attraction of various types of criminals; harmful effects of drugs, gambling, school violence; risks of being exploited in cyberspace; and illegal forms of proselytizing.

Students are also analyzed in real-life situations, equipped with self-protection skills, and skills to detect and promptly report to the school or authorities when detecting unusual signs.

Through the program, it contributes to enhancing coordination between agencies in building a safe and healthy school environment; at the same time, it helps students form a sense of vigilance and responsibility for themselves and the community.

Previously, on December 6, the program was held at Chu Van An High School.
