| Students visit the exhibition space within the event. |
The program was organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City on the afternoon of December 9.
Here, the students attended the flower offering ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh before visiting the Museum display and the thematic exhibition " Hue City with the work of building family culture". In addition, the students also participated in the storytelling contest "We tell stories of Uncle Ho", the painting contest "Uncle Ho with children and Vietnamese families" and many creative experiential activities right at the space of Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City.
Ms. Nguyen Hong Hanh, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, shared that Uncle Ho was born into a Confucian family with a rich tradition. From that warm home, Uncle Ho always imbued with the values of morality, humanity and love between family members. He once advised: "The nucleus of society is the family." That simple saying contains a profound truth: every good family will create a good society, every child who is properly cared for and loved will become a useful citizen for the country.
And to children, the “buds on the branches”, Uncle Ho always devoted all his love and affection. He hoped that families and schools would accompany, join hands, and unite to help children grow up healthy, well-behaved, and become people with character and ambition.
Therefore, each activity in the program carries its own message, but all aim to help students understand more deeply about the life, example and immense love of Uncle Ho. At the same time, it arouses in them pride, gratitude and awareness of preserving Vietnamese family cultural values.
“We believe that through today's journey, you will learn to love your family more, be filial to your grandparents and parents, appreciate your teachers, and live humanely, in solidarity, and study hard according to Uncle Ho's teachings,” said Ms. Hanh.
