On December 10th, the leadership of Luong The Vinh High School in Kbang commune, Gia Lai province, stated that they are cooperating with the police to verify the incident in which a 10th-grade female student was assaulted by a group of students.
According to a report from Luong The Vinh High School, on the afternoon of December 5th, after school hours, NTKN (a 10th-grade student at Luong The Vinh High School) was assaulted by a group of students from Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School in Kbang commune at the embankment of Dak Lop stream, about 800 meters from the school.

At that time, someone near the scene filmed a video and sent it to N.'s family. On the evening of December 9th, due to extreme anger, the family posted the video on Facebook.
According to the video, N. was standing in the middle of a group of students. Suddenly, two female students approached and kicked her, causing her to fall down the embankment.
Even though N. was lying there covering her head, the two female students continued to kick her. Around them, many other students stood cheering and encouraging them.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thuan, Principal of Luong The Vinh High School, said the school is cooperating with the police to clarify the cause of the incident. The homeroom teacher also visited N.'s home to offer support and encourage her to return to class. However, on the morning of December 10th, N. still did not attend school due to psychological distress.

According to the principal of Luong The Vinh High School, initial verification revealed that the group who assaulted N. were students from Nguyen Binh Khiem Junior High School. The cause was determined to stem from a conflict between the students during the previous school year.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, representative of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School, said that the school had invited the students involved to write statements and self-criticism reports. The parents of these students also went to the victim's home to apologize and pledged to compensate if N. suffered any health damage.
