About 1,000 delegates attended the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Patriotic Emulation Congress

The 1st Ho Chi Minh City Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030) will take place on the morning of October 24 at the City Cadre Academy, with about 1,000 delegates attending.

On the afternoon of October 16, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City to hold a press conference to provide information on socio -economic issues in the city.

At the press conference, Ms. Chau Minh Hien, Head of the Emulation and Rewards Committee, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, said: Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has issued a Plan to organize the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030) with the theme "Solidarity, innovation, creativity, emulation to build a pioneering Ho Chi Minh City, with the whole country entering a new era".

Accordingly, the congress will take place on the morning of October 24 at the City Cadre Academy (324 Chu Van An Street, Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), with about 1,000 delegates attending. The congress will introduce the Ho Chi Minh City delegation to the 11th National Emulation Congress.

The Congress aims to evaluate the results of patriotic emulation movements in implementing the goals and tasks of economic, cultural, social, defense and security development of the city; set out directions and tasks to promote emulation movements and improve the effectiveness of commendation work in the period 2025 - 2030.

At the same time, commend and reward achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, honor heroic collectives and individuals, national emulation fighters, typical advanced examples of all levels, sectors, fields, economic sectors, people of all classes and ethnic groups in the area. The 1st Ho Chi Minh City Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030) will be organized solemnly, practically and practice thrift, avoiding ostentation and waste. At the congress, 127 collectives and 346 individuals will be commended and rewarded as typical advanced groups of Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2020-2025.
