Le Khanh and Avin Lu star in a horror film for the first time.

Actress Le Khanh has confirmed her participation in the film "Ma Xo" (The Ghost in the House), directed by Phan Ba ​​Hy and co-produced by 856 Pictures and CJ HK Entertainment. The project approaches the horror theme through family tragedy, while also depicting the helplessness and despair of people when pushed to the brink.

In the recently revealed poster, Le Khanh's appearance has attracted attention. Unlike her usual humorous and charming image, in her first role in a horror film, the actress evokes a sense of curiosity as she appears in the setting of a spiritual ritual.

Sharing her thoughts on the role, Le Khanh said: "When I received the script, I read it in one sitting because I was captivated by the story and the character. After that, I accepted the project because I felt this was the kind of character I'd always wanted to embody but hadn't had the chance to try."

Besides Le Khanh, the film "Ma Xo" also features Tin Nguyen. Meanwhile, Avin Lu appears in the poster with a haggard image, which is considered a "transformation" compared to his previous "romantic" roles.

The producers stated that they researched Vietnamese legends and spiritual beliefs, particularly in the Southern region, to build the film's world in a selective and respectful manner, aiming to reflect human tragedy in desperate circumstances. The film is scheduled for release in June 2026.
