This is the project chosen to start construction to welcome the 15th Lai Chau Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Tan Uyen Town Bypass Project, Tan Uyen District (now Tan Uyen Commune, Lai Chau Province) is invested by the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects. The project is over 3.1km long, designed according to the standard of urban road level 60 (design speed 60km/h according to TCXDVN 104:2007), roadbed width 35m, road surface width 2x9.5m, sidewalk width 2x7m, median strip 2m, including the following items: Roadbed, road surface, drainage works, protection works and traffic safety system. Total investment is 100 billion VND, from the central budget.

The project aims to meet the people's convenient travel needs, contribute to promoting tourism development, socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the area; gradually perfecting the traffic network infrastructure according to the approved planning.
