Celebration of the 137th Birthday of President Ton Duc Thang and Opening of the New School Year

Delegates and the Board of Directors, lecturers and students offered flowers and incense at the statue of President Ton Duc Thang.

Delivering the speech at the ceremony, Dr. Ho Ngoc Truong, Party Secretary and Principal of Ton Duc Thang Political School, emphasized: “The 137th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang’s birthday is an opportunity for us to review, remember, express our deep gratitude, continue to study, cultivate and practice following the example of beloved Uncle Ton - a staunch communist, an exemplary leader who served the Fatherland and the People all his life. Strengthening the education of communist ideals, patriotic and revolutionary traditions for cadres, party members and people, especially the young generation; fostering pride and confidence in the leadership of the Party, the State and the cause of innovation, construction, protection and development of the country”.

Last school year, Ton Duc Thang Political School continued to have important innovations and implemented many breakthrough solutions, aiming to gradually improve the quality of training and fostering, especially direct training and coordination of training and fostering to achieve and exceed the targets set by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

In particular, on July 1, 2025, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee announced Decision No. 11-QD/TU on the establishment of Ton Duc Thang Political School in An Giang province (after the merger of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces) and successfully organized the Party Congress of the two political schools before the merger, and the Party Conference of Ton Duc Thang Political School after the merger.
