Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Roberts administered the oath.

“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Mr. Trump read the oath.

In addition to his personal Bible, Mr. Trump used former President Abraham Lincoln's Bible to take the oath of office. This is the same Bible that Mr. Lincoln used during his inauguration in 1861.
