To proactively respond, minimize damage and ensure safety for people and property in the education sector, the Minister of Education and Training requests Directors of Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities from Lam Dong and above to strictly implement the following contents:
Closely monitor the development of storms and floods, maintain regular contact with authorities and local rescue forces to promptly respond in case of incidents;
Develop plans to ensure safety for students, teachers and education managers; prepare online learning plans and postpone school schedules during complicated stormy days;
Review, inspect and consolidate school facilities, especially at remote schools in remote areas, where there is a high risk of landslides or flooding; Move assets, machinery, equipment, tables, chairs, and records to a safe place to minimize damage, loss, and loss;
Be ready to receive people to take shelter from storms in schools when safety is ensured; Quickly repair damages; clean and sanitize schools/classrooms immediately after storms to ensure safety, cleanliness, and disease prevention, etc.
