“The scheduled power outages in Hanoi are for maintenance, repair, and renovation of the power grid system to ensure safe and stable electricity supply. These schedules have been announced in advance to customers and are fully and properly posted on EVNHANOI's customer care platforms such as website, app, Zalo, Facebook… to allow electricity customers to easily update and look up the schedule, ” EVNHANOI stated.

Hanoi is experiencing a prolonged and intense heatwave, leading to a sudden surge in electricity consumption. This poses a significant risk of incidents at certain times due to equipment operating in high temperatures, and overloaded power lines and substations. To avoid localized overloads that disrupt power supply, EVNHANOI also advises people, agencies, offices, businesses, and production facilities to work together to use electricity economically and efficiently, turn off unnecessary electrical devices, and limit the use of high-power devices during peak hours of the power system, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and from 8 PM to 10 PM daily.
