The 2024 school year schedule in Hai Phong is also included in the summer plan. From June 1 to August 15, primary, secondary and high schools will not organize summer classes or pre-teaching for 5-year-old preschool children entering grade 1 in any form. Educational units will organize the school year for students in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training's school year schedule.”

Admission schedule 2024 Thua Thien Hue

Previously, sharing with Dan Viet Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Tan, Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Education and Training, said: “Recently, instructions have been issued on some contents to prepare for the new school year 2024-2025. This year, the total number of students in Thua Thien Hue is 216,900, not including preschools.

Specifically, the 2024 Thua Thien Hue admission schedule for grades 1, 6 and 10: focus on August 20, 2024 (Tuesday) to organize class staffing, get acquainted with teachers and the new learning environment, give instructions and disseminate school regulations.

Classes of the remaining levels: gather on August 26, 2024 (Monday).

For Kindergarten: start welcoming children to school from September 4, 2024 (Wednesday).

New school year opening day: 7:00 a.m., September 5, 2024 (Thursday)”.

Back-to-school calendar for 63 provinces and cities for the 2024-2025 school year

Currently, the latest school return schedule for 63 provinces and cities for the 2024-2025 school year has not been officially announced by the Ministry of Education and Training. However, based on the annual timetable framework, the school return schedule for 63 provinces and cities (first day of school) will usually take place at the earliest 1 week before the official opening day. For grade 1, students can return to school 2 weeks before the opening day.

In addition, to know the exact schedule for returning to school, students should follow the provincial school year schedule which is decided based on the Ministry of Education and Training's time frame and local conditions.

Private school back-to-school calendar for the 2024-2025 school year

According to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 10 of Circular 40/2021/TT-BGDDT, private general schools implement the school year schedule framework according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

For junior high and high school students, the study time is extended by no more than 4 weeks per school year compared to public high schools, but no additional tuition is charged for the additional study time. Thus, the school start date for private schools can start as early as August 1.
