Billiards match schedule on October 15: Tran Quyet Chien and teammates play the decisive match

Today (October 15), Tran Quyet Chien and Vietnamese players continued to compete in the group stage of the 3-cushion carom billiards World Championship 2025 taking place in Antwerp - Belgium.

In the opening round of the group stage of the Billiards World Championship 2025, which took place from the afternoon of October 14 to the early morning of October 15, four Vietnamese players took part, including Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu, Bao Phuong Vinh, Tran Quyet Chien and Tran Thanh Luc. Of these, Thanh Tu was the only one to lose the opening match. Thanh Luc defeated Jose Miguel Soares (Portugal) with a score difference of 40-17 after 24 rounds. In addition, Chiem Hong Thai has not yet played in this tournament.

Tran Quyet Chien and Bao Phuong Vinh have a wide open door to continue.

Today, October 15, all 5 Vietnamese players will take to the field. The first-match winners like Quyet Chien, Phuong Vinh, Thanh Luc are full of hope to advance to the next round. Thanh Tu needs to win the decisive match.

According to the schedule, Bao Phuong Vinh meets Tolgahan Kiraz (Türkiye) at 5:00 p.m. Tran Quyet Chien meets Luis Sobreyra (Mexico) at 7:00 p.m. Tran Thanh Luc meets Pedro Gonzalez (Colombia) at 9:00 p.m. Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu meets Heo Jung-han (Korea) at 11:00 p.m.

Tran Quyet Chien had a smooth start with a victory in the opening match of the 2025 World Championship.

Chiem Hong Thai will play two group stage matches, meeting two Belgian players, Roland Forthomme (at 5 p.m.) and Bart Ceulemans (1 a.m., October 16).
