Recently, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has continuously conducted experiments, from which they have added options from new factors such as Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Phuong... SEA V.League is the final preparation step of coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students before participating in the world championship where the Vietnamese team won a ticket to participate for the first time.

The Indonesian team is considered the weakest of the four teams participating in the SEA V.League this year. In the two encounters at the SEA V.League 2024, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team defeated Indonesia. The 2025 SEA V.League Volleyball Tournament is divided into 2 stages, including stage 1 in Thailand from August 1 to 3 and stage 2 in Ninh Binh from August 8 to 10. The tournament attracts the participation of the 4 strongest teams in the region, namely Thailand (reigning champion), Vietnam (runner-up) along with Indonesia and the Philippines. Thailand (ranked 20th in the world) and Vietnam (ranked 27th in the world) are expected to compete fiercely for the championship title.
