City Labor Federation offers incense to commemorate comrade Nguyen Duc Canh and pay tribute to heroic martyrs

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of July 22, at the Memorial House of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh (An Dong Commune, An Duong District), the delegation of the City Labor Federation offered incense to commemorate Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh, pay tribute to heroic martyrs and the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the City Labor Federation; Vice Chairmen, members of the Standing Committee, members of the Executive Committee, members of the Inspection Committee of the City Labor Federation, term XV, 2023-2028; leaders of the Departments, Office of the City Labor Federation and comrades Directors, Deputy Directors of economic and trade union units under the City Labor Federation.

Before the spirit of comrade Nguyen Duc Canh, former founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam , former Secretary of the Bac Ky Regional Party Committee, former President of the Bac Ky Red Confederation of Labor (the predecessor of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), the first Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and the heroic martyrs, the delegation of the Hai Phong City Confederation of Labor expressed their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of comrade Nguyen Duc Canh and the heroic martyrs to our Party, our country, our people and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The city's union members, workers and civil servants vow to promote the heroic and loyal tradition of previous generations, unite and strive to build the city to be increasingly developed, prosperous and civilized.

This is a meaningful activity, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism, continuing the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of union members, workers and civil servants of the city on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the 92nd anniversary of the death of comrade Nguyen Duc Canh (July 31, 1932 - July 31, 2022), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).
