Multiple reliable sources confirm that Al-Hilal has reached an agreement to sign Darwin Nunez for £46 million, excluding add-ons.
Liverpool want to offload the Uruguayan striker after spending £79 million to bring in Hugo Ekitike. In addition, they are still pursuing a "big-money" signing in Alexander Isak.

The Athletic confirms that Nunez has recently been given permission to negotiate with the wealthy Saudi Arabian club and has just made a breakthrough.
Accordingly, Al-Hilal offered Darwin Nunez a three-year contract with a staggering salary of £18.7 million per season.
AC Milan were also interested in the 26-year-old striker, but they couldn't compete with the Saudi Arabian club financially.
As soon as the two clubs agree on a fee, Darwin Nunez will fly to the Middle East for a medical examination.
Earlier this year, Al-Nassr submitted a £60 million offer for Nunez. However, Liverpool rejected it at the time because they were competing for the Premier League title.
Back in 2022, Anfield spent a record £85 million to bring Nunez to the club. In his three years with The Kop, the Uruguayan international scored 40 goals in 143 appearances.
