The Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command and its units thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented telegrams, plans, and notices from superiors; advised on the issuance and deployment of 9 telegrams and official dispatches directing the prevention and response to storm No. 3.

Organize 100% of the military on duty, increase the number of on-duty teams, closely monitor the weather situation, and grasp developments in key areas. Response plans, ensuring communication, logistics, and technology are reviewed, adjusted, and carefully prepared. The work of checking the safety of barracks, warehouses, training grounds, and areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and flash floods is clearly assigned to the teams and strictly implemented, ensuring absolute safety for officers, soldiers, and facilities of the unit.

As of July 22, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Armed Forces have mobilized 4,232 people (including 465 soldiers and 3,767 militiamen), along with 35 cars and 3 motorboats of the Border Guard to participate in response, helping people evacuate from dangerous areas, guarding at culverts, culverts, and ferry terminals, ensuring traffic safety and people's lives.

Nga Son Commune is one of the localities with the heaviest rainfall in the province. To ensure the safety of the people, the Commune Military Command coordinated with functional forces to evacuate 10 households at risk of flooding to a safe place.

Comrade Mai Xuan Tang, Commander of the Military Command of Nga Son Commune, said: "Before the storm, we proactively propagated and helped households at risk of flooding to evacuate to safe places; during the storm, we maintained the highest number of on-duty personnel to be ready to handle situations that occurred during the storm; after the storm, we coordinated with other forces to help families with heavy losses, families with preferential policies and those with temporary jobs to quickly stabilize their lives."

Thanks to the proactive and synchronous implementation of solutions, Thanh Hoa did not record any human losses. However, the storm still caused a lot of damage to traffic and production: Many residential areas were flooded 60-100cm, landslides on the slopes of roads in Phu Le, Nhi Son, Linh Toai, Trieu Loc...; a 400m long hill crack in Trieu Loc commune; more than 2,230 hectares of rice were flooded; some dikes and reservoirs had incidents, especially the landslide of the West dike of Cung river in Hoang Chau commune. Military forces coordinated with local government forces to deploy emergency remedial measures, in accordance with the "4 on-site" motto.

After the storm, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command continued to maintain 100% of its troops ready to inspect and review key areas such as low-lying areas, residential areas at risk of flooding, flash floods, landslides, unsafe dams and dykes. Units coordinated with functional forces to deploy measures to ensure the safety of people and property, and were ready to respond to any arising situations.

At the same time, people were asked to follow weather forecasts and strictly follow the instructions of the functional forces. By this afternoon, the rain and wind had decreased, the unit took the opportunity to set up and repair propaganda and agitation billboards, fallen trees blocking the way... and prepare forces and means to mobilize the maximum number of troops tomorrow to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3, ensuring that the unit can soon return to normal operations."

Currently, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military is preparing forces and means to support people in overcoming the consequences of the storm: cleaning up and repairing houses and constructions, clearing sewers, helping people stabilize their lives. At the same time, continuing to organize forces to guard dangerous areas, control traffic, and ensure safety for people and vehicles.
