The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has just released a report on trading activity on UpCOM and HNX. According to the report, the UPCoM market in July 2025 recorded a strong upward trend in both liquidity and stock prices.
In terms of liquidity, ABB shares of An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank led UPCoM with a trading volume of over 28.34 million shares, accounting for approximately 13.61% of the total volume.
Following closely behind was HNG of Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agriculture Joint Stock Company with a trading volume of 8.3 million shares, equivalent to 3.99%.
In third place is BVB of Ban Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank, with 8.30 million shares traded, accounting for approximately 3.98%.
The remaining two stocks in the top 5 are SBS of Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Securities Joint Stock Company and VGT of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, with liquidity weights of 2.68% and 2.65% respectively.
In terms of trading prices, the UpCOM exchange recorded several stocks experiencing "hot" price increases in July compared to the end of the previous month.
Leading the way is the NS2 stock code of Hanoi Water Supply Company No. 2, with a closing price of 39,000 VND on July 31st, a 150% increase compared to 15,600 VND on June 30th.
Next is the stock code MCG of Vietnam Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company, which increased by 105%, from 1,700 VND to 3,500 VND.
In third place is the stock code VE9 of VNECO 9 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company, recording a 100% increase compared to the previous month.
Additionally, among the stocks that surged were DNN of Da Nang Water Supply Joint Stock Company and TAB of Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company, with increases of 100% and 82.9% respectively.

On the HNX exchange, the stock with the strongest price increase in July was APS of Asia Pacific Securities Joint Stock Company, with the closing price at the end of the month increasing by 98.5% (equivalent to 6,600 VND), reaching 13,300 VND per unit.
Coming in second is SHS stock of Saigon - Hanoi Securities Joint Stock Company with a 79.6% increase (equivalent to 10,200 VND/share), reaching 23,000 VND/unit.
Following that, AME shares of Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company increased by 59.6% (equivalent to 3,100 VND), reaching 8,300 VND per unit.
In fourth place is IPA stock of IPA Investment Group Joint Stock Company, with a 58% increase (equivalent to VND 7,900), reaching VND 21,500 per unit.
In terms of liquidity, SHS shares of Saigon - Hanoi Securities Joint Stock Company led the way with a trading volume of 956.1 million shares (accounting for 26% of the entire market).
Ranked second is the CEO stock of CEO Group Joint Stock Company, with a trading volume of 623.5 million shares (accounting for 17% of the entire market).
In third place, MBS shares of MB Securities Joint Stock Company had a trading volume of 207.8 million shares (corresponding to a 6% share of the entire market).
