Speaking to reporters, many forum administrators expressed surprise at Facebook's actions. Phan Thanh Bao, administrator of a media materials forum with over 10 years of operation, said he was very sorry that his and his colleagues' brainchild was "frozen".

Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, administrator of the OF.FB vehicle and traffic community, which owns a group with more than 1.5 million members, said that the group is still safe. However, the board of directors has decided to suspend the group for a few days to monitor Facebook's actions.

Vu Minh Hieu, who runs a media network, said that many Facebook groups are currently experiencing problems and there is no way to fix them, and he plans to work with the social network's representatives to resolve the issue if there is no progress. According to Hieu, there may be a Facebook bug being exploited that is causing the groups to experience problems.

Pausing the page is the only way groups are hoping to protect themselves from this bug, but its effectiveness is unproven.
