'Pigcasso the Pig' who painted thousand-dollar artwork has passed away.

Pigcasso, the pig dubbed " the world's most successful animal artist" and who even had his own art exhibition, passed away when he was almost 8 years old.

Lefson said that Pigcasso is "very intelligent, creative and gentle," expressing gratitude for having collaborated with the pig artist for so many years.

This animal was also the first to hold its own exhibition in 2018. All proceeds from the sale of the artwork were donated to Farm Sanctuary SA, a sanctuary for rescued animals in South Africa.
