Solemnly organize the Vesak 2025 - Buddhist calendar 2569

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Bui Van Bia presented flowers to congratulate the Grand Ceremony.

This year's ceremony takes place in the context of Vietnam celebrating many important events such as: 50 years of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and 80 years of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). In that flow, Vietnamese Buddhism has always been a closely associated part, accompanying the nation.

The main message of Vesak 2025 was clearly expressed in the speech of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, not stopping at honoring the Buddha but aiming at practical action. That is to arouse positive energy in each person: Compassion in action, wisdom in perception and tolerance in social behavior. These values ​​are becoming increasingly urgent, especially when the world is facing climate change, conflict, poverty and moral crisis in many places...

Sharing at the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Nhat Tan - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province called on the global Buddhist community to always diligently practice, uphold the precepts, spread the energy of compassion and wisdom to make practical contributions to the common peace and happiness of all humanity.
