Coastal missile brigade protecting Truong Sa launches training season

Attending the training launch ceremony of Naval Brigade 681 were Colonel Do Tan Hong, Deputy Head of Logistics, Navy; Colonel Huynh Vinh Tuyen, Deputy Commander of Naval Region 2; Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Luong Van Hai and officials from provincial departments, authorities of Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city ( Binh Thuan ), where the unit is stationed.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Do Tan Hong, on behalf of the Navy Command, commended the achievements of officers and soldiers of Brigade 681 in 2018.

Colonel Do Tan Hong asked the officers and soldiers of Brigade 681 to promote the achievements they have made in the 2018 training season, determined to practice, improve their scientific and technical knowledge, improve the quality of training, master the modern weapons they are equipped with, and be ready to fight in any difficult situation. Actively participate in helping local people in natural disasters and floods.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the units under the Brigade signed a competition to successfully complete the 2019 training mission.

Brigade 681, under the Command of Naval Region 2, is stationed in Tien Thanh Commune, Phan Thiet City. This is a coastal missile brigade equipped with modern weapons to protect the coast and Truong Sa archipelago, including Bastion-P missiles produced by Russia, the most modern weapon today.

Brigade 681 was honored to welcome Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to visit and inspect combat readiness on April 19, 2017.
