The fire quickly engulfed Hung Phat car garage, lot F11-25, 3/2 Street, Vinh Lac Ward (Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province), destroying many cars.
According to initial information, at approximately 9:00 AM on December 6th, a sudden fire broke out in the car paint shop area of Hung Phat garage, owned by Mr. PQT (born in 1992). The area contained many chemicals and flammable materials, causing the fire to spread rapidly.
The garage staff quickly deployed firefighting efforts but were unsuccessful. Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Kien Giang Provincial Police) dispatched several fire trucks, a water tanker, and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to provide assistance.

As a result, the fire caused no casualties, but damaged a Suzuki Wagon (5-seater), a Ford Transit (16-seater), a Mazda (5-seater), and other parts and property.
According to some employees, the incident may have been caused by a short circuit in the paint shop's exhaust fans.
