Fire burns down 1,000m2 warehouse in Bac Ninh

The fire broke out at around 3:00 p.m. on February 29 at a warehouse in Tuong Giang ward, Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province.

The fire broke out in a warehouse containing plaster and plastic of a business, about 1,000 square meters wide, built with an iron frame and corrugated iron roof.

Images from local residents show the smoke from the fire reaching tens of meters high.

Authorities said that 6 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers were mobilized by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tu Son City Police to the scene to control the fire.

At the same time, two excavators were also sent to the warehouse to destroy the border points that were at risk of spreading fire.

By about 3:50 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. Authorities have not yet recorded any human casualties, but property in the warehouse was burned down.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
