The person behind the transfer deal is coach Park Hang Seo - who is known as the senior advisor of Bac Ninh Club. Mr. Park brought Tien Linh to the peak of his career while leading the Vietnamese team. The relationship between this coach and his former student is still very close.
Coach Park Hang Seo understands that Nguyen Tien Linh will be the key to opening a memorable season for Bac Ninh Club and can help them get promoted to V.League.

However, Coach Park Hang Seo's plan may still fail even if Tien Linh agrees to join Bac Ninh Club. At present, Mr. Park's team is ranked third in Group A, 1 point behind Quang Ninh and 2 points behind PVF-CAND Youth. They must win all 4 final matches to gain the right to be promoted to the First Division for the 2025/26 season.
If Bac Ninh is not promoted, Nguyen Tien Linh will not be allowed to play in the Second Division for Bac Ninh. According to the regulations of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), players in the Second Division must ensure that they are not registered to play in the V.League and the First Division of the previous season. Tien Linh is currently the captain of Binh Duong Club.
This season, Nguyen Tien Linh has shown impressive form with 11 goals after 22 rounds, leading the V.League scoring list. However, the unstable performance of Binh Duong Club in the second leg has greatly affected the number of goals scored by Nguyen Tien Linh.
