The incident happened in the 8th minute of the Europa League quarter-final second leg at Sevilla's home ground. De Gea passed the ball to Harry Maguire but the England centre-back was quickly pressed by 3 Sevilla players.

Maguire hurriedly passed the ball to the left for Wan-Bissaka but failed and let El-Nesyri steal the ball and beat De Gea in a one-on-one situation.

The early goal caused Man Utd to lose the game and lose 0-3 in the second leg of the quarter-finals, thereby stopping in the Europa League with a final score of 2-5 after two matches.
Man Utd fans have mercilessly criticized the mistakes of Harry Maguire and De Gea that caused their team to concede an early goal.
"Harry Maguire please leave my club as soon as possible," said one angry fan.
"Maguire will have to take most of the responsibility for the goal but why did De Gea pass the ball to him when 3 Sevilla players were surrounding him. Why didn't De Gea pass to Wan-Bissaka who was free on the right wing?", another fan expressed about De Gea's difficult pass to his teammate.

Commenting on BT Sport, commentator Robbie Savage said: "That was a situation where Harry Maguire asked for the ball, but De Gea shouldn't have passed it to him even if his teammate asked for the ball. It would be difficult for Maguire when two players were pressing him."
Another fan agreed with Savage, saying: "Despite Maguire asking for the ball, De Gea should know that Maguire doesn't have the skills to get out of that situation. If it was Martinez, he could get out of that situation when he controlled the ball because he is very good under pressure."
"Regardless of whose fault it is, Maguire and De Gea should leave the club," one fan criticized.
Having been eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, Man Utd will be under huge pressure in the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton this weekend.
A win over Brighton could give Erik Ten Hag's side a chance to win a domestic double after winning the League Cup earlier this year.
