However, many people think that Man United will hardly be able to bring their strongest squad to Asia because their journey is too rushed. Specifically, Man United will play their last match in the Premier League against Aston Villa on May 25, just 3 days before going to Asia.

Not to mention that in early June, the players have to return to the national team to prepare for the FIFA Day matches. With that situation, it is very difficult for the Man United stars to accept the trip to Asia.

However, many sources said that the contract for the tour was likely to include a clause allowing Man United to send stars to Asia. This is also a common constraint to avoid fans paying for tickets but not being able to watch the stars play.

To calm fans' concerns, Mr. Christoffer Komen, who is in charge of Man Utd's tour, said that the "red devils" will only release players in early June and committed to bringing the strongest squad to Asia.

To prepare for the match against Man United, on April 11, the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) selected Mr. Kim Sang Sik - Head Coach of the Vietnam National Team - to lead the ASEAN All-Stars team. The ASEAN All-Stars team will include top players selected from all 12 AFF member federations.
