(NADS) - The food distribution program for disadvantaged households such as the elderly, children, the disabled, the sick, pregnant women... in two communes, Phuoc Hoa and Phuoc Binh, Bac Ai district, on the occasion of Lunar New Year is always a focus of Mustwell.
On this trip, the charity group transported food trucks from Phan Rang city center carrying 300 bags of rice, 300 boxes of instant noodles, 150 boxes of milk, and lucky money for 300 poor households. Bac Ai is a mountainous district of Ninh Thuan , about 50 km from Phan Rang city. This is one of the most difficult districts in the province, with more than 95% of ethnic minorities being poor households.
Through research, it was learned that the Director of Mustwell shrimp breeding company, Ms. Vo Thi Kim Linh (30 years old), was also born and raised in Ninh Thuan. With a heart full of love for her homeland, Ms. Linh spared no effort in preparing the program, money and time to go to the most remote areas to share with those in difficult circumstances, wishing them a warm and happy Tet in the new year.
The weather in Ninh Thuan is harsh, especially in remote areas where the roads are not convenient for travel. The Mustwell charity group had to overcome winding mountain passes in the rain, slippery roads, bad roads, getting lost, broken vehicles, etc. It can be said that the charity trip was a success thanks to the efforts of Ms. Linh and the company.
Mustwell Charity Group in coordination with local officials shared Tet gifts with people in Bac Ai district.
Ms. Vo Thi Kim Linh confided: “Last year the economy was difficult, business was very difficult, but I think no matter how difficult it is, I will still try to share with everyone, the people in difficulty really need support from philanthropists, not just my company, I just contribute a very small part. I hope that every year I will have enough conditions to share like this, and if the economy is more favorable, I will contribute even more.”
In addition, after leaving Bac Ai village, Ms. Kim Linh and her relatives went to look for poor people scattered all over Phan Rang city, giving them lucky money. People were selling lottery tickets, pedicab drivers, motorbike taxi drivers, or homeless people, etc.
The reason why Mustwell Shrimp Breeding Company always aims at those in difficult circumstances, Ms. Vo Thi Kim Linh believes that the profits she receives are partly due to luck, so Mustwell also wants to share her luck with everyone.
"In the following years, when Tet is near, we will try to continue to come to the people of Bac Ai district. Volunteer actions like this bring spiritual value of sympathy and sharing much higher than material value," said Ms. Kim Linh.
