Profit after tax reached 591 billion VND

According to the financial report for the first 6 months of 2025, Manulife Vietnam's after-tax profit reached VND591 billion, total assets reached nearly VND145,000 billion, up 6% over the same period last year. With a charter capital of VND22,220 billion, Manulife Vietnam continues to lead the life insurance industry in terms of capital scale.
Not only maintaining financial efficiency, Manulife continues to demonstrate its role as a practical companion to customers in the face of life's risks. Specifically, the company has paid nearly 4,000 billion VND in insurance benefits to customers in the first half of 2025. Most recently, in the case of a shipwreck in Ha Long, the insurance company quickly decided to pay more than 9.2 billion VND to the families of 6 unfortunate customers, contributing to helping families overcome difficult times.
Product innovation, continued digitalization to better serve customers
In accordance with Decree 46 and to meet customers' increasingly diverse needs for insurance products, Manulife has introduced the "Green Solution Quartet" including: Green Dream - education accumulation solution, Green Future - multi-purpose financial solution, Green Shield - critical illness insurance, and Green Backup - medical subsidy insurance.
With the message "Choose Green for Health", these products are the result of the company's thorough and in-depth research on trends related to finance, health, medicine, etc. in an effort to add practical protection benefits to customers. In addition to high flexibility and competitive fees, the "Green Solution Quartet" is also designed to be transparent and easy to understand. In particular, the company also simplifies the language used in the insurance contract, increasing the intuitiveness so that customers can easily grasp the information.
With a commitment to continuously listen to customer opinions and act promptly, since January 2025, Manulife Vietnam has launched the M-PS customer feedback system, allowing for quick and effective measurement of customer satisfaction at each touchpoint. The insurer also commits to contact customers with negative experiences within 48 hours of receiving feedback to make efforts to resolve any issues.
In addition, to meet customers' online chat needs, the 'Manulife Live Chat' chat feature has been integrated into the My Contract page and the Manulife Vietnam app, allowing customers to connect with the company's staff anytime, anywhere to receive instant support. At the same time, the company continues to improve the insurance benefits settlement process by applying automation technology to shorten processing time, launching an online document supplement portal to help customers submit documents quickly, conveniently and safely.
Prioritize the development of a team of professional consultants
In the context of insurance playing an increasingly essential role in the health and finances of millions of Vietnamese families, Manulife is deeply aware that investing in a team of professional, dedicated and knowledgeable consultants is a prerequisite to building and strengthening customer trust.
In the first half of 2025, Manulife Vietnam pioneered the implementation of essential public health knowledge training for consultants through a cooperation program with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health of Hanoi Medical University.
Specifically, the program focuses on providing knowledge about common infectious and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and cancer - the causes of most current insurance claims. In addition to theory, consultants are also instructed on how to read and understand test results, advise on health issues related to insurance benefits, and then apply them to practical consultation.
This is a strategic step towards developing a team of professional 'new generation' consultants with basic knowledge of finance and public health, meeting the increasing demand for healthy living, while ensuring customers find the most optimal protection solutions.
