More than 356 billion VND paid after storm No. 10 – but there are still many gaps

After storm No. 10, insurance companies received more than 2,280 claims, with a total estimated payout of VND356.7 billion – mainly focused on technical assets (VND315.6 billion) and motor vehicles (VND38 billion). But behind that seemingly optimistic figure is a reality: most of the damage to people and small businesses is still outside the “insurance shield”.
