US A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft landed at Gia Lam airport

(Dan Tri) - At noon on December 15, two US A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft landed at Gia Lam Airport ( Hanoi ), ready to participate in the display at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.

Thunderbolt II is designed with an empty weight of 11.3 tons; maximum take-off weight of 22.7 tons. Thunderbolt can carry a variety of missiles including AGM Maverick air-to-ground missiles or AIM-9 Sidewinder heat-seeking missiles.
