On the afternoon of September 8th, many areas in the province were still without electricity, leading to a surge in demand for generators. Several generator shop owners on Le Thanh Nghi Street (Hai Duong City) reported selling 100-200 generators from morning to afternoon on September 8th, compared to their usual 2-3 units per day.

People tend to choose generators with a power output of 4-10 kW, which can power refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines. These generators cost between 5 and 15 million VND per unit, depending on the power output.

Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3, many houses had their roofs blown off, leading to a surge in demand for roofing sheets. At some roofing sheet shops on Thong Nhat and Tam Giang streets (Hai Duong City), the number of customers also increased dramatically, ranging from 50 to 100. Popular choices include Hoa Sen insulated roofing sheets (ranging from 67,000 to 239,000 VND/m2), Dong A insulated roofing sheets (from 55,000 to 149,000 VND/m2), and Viet Nhat roofing sheets (ranging from 55,000 to 195,000 VND/m2).
